  23.     Might as well just use AT&F1, it will accomplish everything that
  24. the above init string does.

  28.     Well, first things first, find ouw WHY you're being disconnected. 
  29. After you're disconnected sometime, send the modem an ATI6 command.  This
  30. should spit out a page of info, including the reason for the last
  31. disconnect.  Post that info and maybe we'll be able to find a solution.

  33.     Next, according to your next message, you're connecting to
  34. Motorola Power/LifeStyle modems.  Check what you're ISP is using for
  35. settings on their end.  Their mdoems come with on-line
  36. fall-forward/fall-back disabled by default (%R0), if they haven't changed
  37. that already, they should.
